Privacy

Acrewise has no accounts and no sign-up, and browsing asks nothing of you. When you order a report, we keep only what the order needs. This page explains both.

Who we are

Acrewise is operated by Legacy Bridge Holdings Atlanta, LLC. In this policy, “Acrewise,” “we” and “us” mean that company.

What stays on your device

• Place searches in the atlas are matched in your browser. They are not sent to us.
• Map views you save are stored in your browser’s local storage. They stay on that device, and clearing this site’s data removes them.

What our providers receive

• Hosting. Cloudflare serves and protects this site. Like any web host, it receives the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, their approximate region, and their device and browser. Cloudflare’s tool sets no cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies that recognize a returning browser, and Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. We use these reports to improve the site, not to identify you.
• Maps and terrain. When you open the atlas or turn on a map layer, your browser loads maps, terrain and data directly from the agencies and companies that publish them: the US Department of Agriculture, FEMA, NOAA, the US Geological Survey, Esri and the Re:Earth terrain service. Those providers receive your IP address and the map area you are viewing, under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

The only cookies on Acrewise are Google Analytics cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID. They count visits and recognize a returning browser. The site works the same if you block them in your browser settings, or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

When you order a report

• What we keep. The address or location you entered, the parcels it matched, the report type, your email address as Stripe passes it to us, the payment reference, the report itself, and timestamps. We use them to build and deliver your report and to refund it if we cannot.
• Payment. Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
• Building the report. We send the parcel to Cierto, which compiles the public records. Cierto receives the land, not your name, email or payment details.
• How long. Your report page stays live for a year after the order. Anyone with its private link can open it, so share the link only with people you want to see the report.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not run ads on Acrewise.

Sample reports

Sample reports on this site are compiled from public records about a real parcel. Identifying details, such as the address, parcel number and nearby place names, are removed or withheld.

Children

Acrewise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
